As a milk bank that supplies into the NHS to feed some of the most vulnerable babies, it is critically important that our services are as safe as possible. In fact, everything we do has safety at heart, and every year we conduct an audit against the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence Clinical Guideline 93 – on the Operation of a Human Milk Bank.

And excitingly, we’ve just been re-awarded a 5-Star Food Standards Agency rating! Credit goes to all the team in the milk bank and our Expert Oversight board who have made this happen!
